Frozen Episode Three - Of Mindflayers and Men

General Summary

Part One

Destined for the Ten Towns, Navi lead the party to the ten trail and then a river. Instead of traveling on their third day the group fished under Navi's guidance. They eventually caught a knuckhead trout and as they did so Precival intercepted and read Navi's thoughts. They learned an intellect devourer sought to attack the group and they were forced to defeat the monster. In the end, after an attempted suicide and an intervention, a deal was brokered with Navi's tadpole passenger and their partnership began. Disassociated, at a campfire, Navi told her brothers how she came to be infested with a mindflayer tadpole. A story about her being lifted into a vessel in sky and tadpole planted in her eye by a mindflayer. Eventually, the party made it to town and there, they met their uncle. Poised to continue their journey, with news of their father's ill minded advisor, the group planned to rest at the tavern in town before heading home to confront their familial problems.

Part Two

At the Northlook, the group filled their bellies with 24 silver's worth of Hunter's Pie, a Vilhorn Cider for Gwain, and a Westgate Ruby for Precival. The tavern keeper, Scramsax told them the story of Ol'Bitey and how a mage named Jim Darkmagic turned him to an animated creature again. Flattering the dwarves, Precival accepted their mission for the next day. That night, they met a man named Volothamp "Volo" Geddarm before getting some rest and come morning; they considered getting Navi's tadpole to take him but decided against it, though learned he could potentially remove hers. The party then headed off to stock up on supplies at a store called The Hidden Emporium of Justice. Afterward, they set their sights upon the North Gate to rescue a dwarven wagon filled with iron to win the favor of a dwarven clan.
