The Daante Empire rails against the restrictions imposed to them by the Pact of Ten and seek to regain their independence and former power.

The Slaïyagor royal family seeks to get rid of the restrictions the Watch has placed on its economic advancement, and begins to arms itself with the intent of bringing down Fyron, which is at this time the Watch's pet country. The war that follows results in more power given to the Watch, as well as a larger unity of mainland Andellion. They successfully drive back the Daantite invaders by collaborating with the Pelliad family of Kerdaante, supporting their coup d'État which obliterates the Slaïyagor line save for those who swear their allegiance to the new Emperors.
