The Golden Arrow Lodge
A large, two story inn situated by a hot spring which encourages travelers to stop a while. Owned by the Elven innkeeper, Katsumaro Usami, who ran the inn with the help of his wife before she passed. There have been a string of breakages in the inn which has caused Katsumaro to put up a sign which reads, "Warning. Breakages pay double. Refusal will result in Bounty Hunters."
Purpose / Function
Provides soothing bathing, hot food, good drink and a soft bed on a long road
Architecture
Blue painted wood and translucent paper windows. Quite large with a upper floor that seems to overhang the lower floor and a wide, gabled roof tiled in grey slate
History
Built by Katsumaro and his wife who was a druid. While he built the inn she cultivated the plants of the area, encouraging the knot-trees to bind together overhead to form a conopy and to grow in such a way as to screen the hot spring while not obscuring it from the road.
Tourism
Travelling merchants, masterless Warrior Caste and other wanderers visit the hot spring to ease the burden of travel and often take advantage of the facilities supplied by the Golden Arrow Lodge
