Dreamhaven Nest
A cluster of three aarakocra spires that look like 200 ft. tall, 30 ft. wide towers woven from bundles of springy sapling wood like a basket. Each tower has gaping, irregularly shaped holes all around and rising up the structure through which the wind whistles playing and eerie, haunting tune. Branches stick out from the spires at odd angles for the bird people to cling on to. The top is capped by a wide, thatched roof and the tallest one sports a lamp to shine out into the nights, guiding the aarakocra home.
Demographics
The village is made up entirely of aarakocra most of who live off of the natural resources of the mountain
Government
The people who live here are Casteless. While technically under Hivokian law their remote location sees to it that it does not trouble them often. The settlement is run by a elder or respected citizen much like a traditional Hivokian village.
Industry & Trade
The people of this settlement are hunter gatherers, having no need for outside trade and little opportunity to engage in it.
Infrastructure
The spires wide doorways serve as entryways through which the bird people can fly into and out of the building and seem to have been built with the music the wind makes with them in mind as when it blows the notes are haunting and beautiful. Each floor has a ring of wooden flooring around its edge and a hole in the center through which they can fly to change level. The spires are devoid of stairs or ladder, the denizens having no need of them. In this way the spires act as a basic defense against predator's as anyone without wings is denied access to the upper, sleeping levels. The central, largest spire is the most communal building, housing the settlements shops, tavern, town hall and library. This spire has the widest openings in its woven walls and floors and is topped with a lighthouse that burns through the night.

Dreamhaven Nest is about 100 years old and is only in use for half of the year, the flock spending the rest of the year on the mainland. Every year in the 4th month they return and rebuild the structure
Architecture
The spires are build from a mix of redish browns of the cedar and cypress trees; as well as sightly lighter shades of maple and beech. Inside clusters of maple flowers bloom from the still living branches whose lower extremities trail down into pales of water.
Geography
The low mountain is covered in a forest of evergreen trees. It is the southernmost point in the Whitecap Mountain range and its foothills host low valleys and ridges, rising gently to the mountain proper. A stream runs down the east side, joining many others at the mountains foot to create the marshland of Demi Province
