Detrialm

The world is burning.  Suffocating.  Freezing.    Because guardians of the elemental domains are losing trust in living beings. And while Detrialm was here longbefore biological life and will be here long after, the loss would be extreme.       For as long as remembered history biological life has had to coax what they needed from the keepers. After all, without their favor bioforms wouldn't last a day.   Atmoforms once bound to treaties of climate now take the breath out of life to tend to their wounded and ill. Hydroforms are leaving vast swaths of land to gather with their kin in the oceans. Once temperate lands are withering, while coastal areas are faced with massive floods and escalating storms. The lithokin have always been slow to change, but even they are locking the doors to magic, technology, and knowledge. Conferring with other geoforms they say.   Yes, bioforms have not been the best about keeping their deals... But this seems rather drastic to many. More and more bioform want nothing to do with the keepers and the keepers are growing tired of their broken promises. Water and even some aquakin captured, taking more than their share. Promised sharing of nutrients and innovations seems to be hoarded instead in many domains. And the windkin and stormkin are ravaging cities that dared hurt them and their fellow kin.   The conflicts have hit a peak and bioforms are the ones who will tip the scales. But undoing the harm they have caused will be a challenge. Convincing the keepers to cooperate is no small task, and there seems to be other tensions brewing under the surface   In the end, Detrialm is on the brink of major change. Bioforms up to the call and keepers willing to help may just save Detrialm as we know it.
