The Woods Elves
"Despite the long history of wars and famine, it seem that woodland elves have learned nothing much from their mistakes.
One of the most warlike peoples of the Deset, the elves of the woods have a very advanced military culture, their mercenaries are the most sought after by caravans of merchants and noble families.
They are closed people and rarely open their borders, even merchants struggle to win the trust of wood elves, although many goods are rare within Preen, like fish and steel.
Sadly, the inhabitants of the emerald woods are famous for the slave trade that flows into the capital, Preen, also called the city of sighs from The'lin.
Despite the reduced size of the kingdom, the presence of Preen is felt noticeably within the Deset, they have been a notable war power, until King Tadion the White put an end to the war of the emerald forest.
After 3 years of peace between the elven realms, the integration of article 59 in the Bunreach Gheimhridh has caused new contrasts between the three elven kingdoms, some believe that the death of Queen Carys Baan Chineál, Wife of King Tadion the White, is due to a spy of the reign of Preen, but there is no evidence of the involvement of them in this episode and even King Tadion, when his people began to foment against the wood elves, he remained calm, avoiding a second war.
Currently, we don't know what relationship the two kingdoms have, and the role of night elves in this situation is unknown.
But the violent and warlike nature of the woodland elves will not leave unnoticed the kindness that the silver elves show towards their fugitive slaves.

Anatomy
The elves of the woods are a humanoid species, with particular ears pinned and eyes slightly elongated outwards
Biological Traits
The woods elves are the elven race that lives longer, are resistant to most diseases and their bones heal quickly.
They live between 90 and 100 years old, and mages, between 80 and 90.
Their height does not exceed on average 150 meters for 60 kg.
Genetics and Reproduction
All elves are mammals, the gestation takes usually 8 months.

Woods elf reach their maturity at 18/20 year old.

The social structure of the forest elves is a pyramidal structure:
At the head of the pyramid is the King with his 4 princesses
Below him, there is the council of the elders, who design and create the laws, which then must be approved by the king and the princesses.
Below that there is the guilds, the most important is the slavers guild, which also controls part of the council of elders
Under there are common
the last are the slaves, who have no rights, not even the right to have families and private properties

One of the most important and powerful organizations in the kingdom is the guild of slavers, they manage everything, even the Council of Elders, but it is not the most numerous. The most numerous organization, even if illegal, is the The'Lin resistance which fight for the right and the freedom of slaves.

For the wood elves the most important thing is power: their beauty ideal is a man strong and powerful who can serve in the army, who can make decision even when none can, and a beautyful woman that can keep the house but also stand their grounds when needed, a woman that have no scruples to hurt a slave if needed.

For woods elves the gender is really strict, women are women and men are men.
But in the case of the slaves the gender is almost inexistent, the master chose the gender of a slave.

An ideal relationship is built for power, the husband and wife fight and climb the social ladder, making their family important and rich.

Woods Elves have abandoned completely the old tradition and they have repudiated them.
The Ancient Rites are classified as pagan and heretical rites.
History
During the great schism of the elves, given the chaos created by magic during the First Conflict, some elves repudiated her, frightened by her terrible potentialities and the countless lives involved in the first conflict.
these elves completely isolated themselves in the emerald forest and, despite the first difficulties with the humidity, diseases and food shortages of the first decades, the elves eventually adapted to this environment, becoming one of the most flourishing cultures, unlike the elves of the night and silver elves who were struggling to adapt to the new habitats.
Given the advantage that the elves of the woods had on the other two races decided to launch an attack, hoping to weaken even more the two races, but to their surprise the two races allied together and managed to counter the attack of the elves of the woods, despite the latter made countless prisoners.
And those prisoners became the first The'Lin of history, in the culture of silver elves those prisoners are venerated as saints and martyrs.
