Caelmorin
Caelmorin, the capitol of the Caelmorin Demesne, the Gardens of Civilization, is constructed of steel and glass, and floats above the cliffs of Mageweave Bay on seven beams of light, built on the density of the Weave that has been laid down over a millenium. Each beam appears to hold up one of the seven gardens; Sepulchre, Lightner, Genysys, Hearth, Bailead, Skilcroft, and the Shield. These gardens are all connected to the Redara, a massive tower in the center. Almost a half million souls call the City of Sun home, with the Arcway, the Seven Pillars, and the Mageweave Mentorate providing a lifestyle that can only be called luxurious.
The city sits on a half mile high cliff overlooking a deepwater inlet where the Caelmerish Navy is built, with seven immense plates called gardens rising five hundred feet above cliff itself. The gardens lift the populace into the sky, closer to the sun, and between them run floating Magewoven rings though which glass platforms fly, taking pedestrians all over the city.
Below and through the gardens rest the Astral Anchors, which hold the gardens aloft, and the Below, a city sized shadow where the less priviledged reside. There are parts of this undercity that have not seen sunlight in the eight centuries since the gardens were raised, and rumors abound of creatures and shadow councils that actually run the city have been hidden there, out of sight, since the Founding.
