Denda

The continent of Meridia is the primary known, civilized land in the world. While primarily a temperate mixture of grassland and forest, Meridia is also home to high mountain ranges, a desert, frigid tundra and a variety of other biomes.   Politically, Meridia is roughly split between the countries of three races: the elven feudal plutocracy of Solis, the human empire of Alefir, and the gnome and dwarven stratocracy of Laoch.   Other races also populate the land, some mixing well with the three common races, while others find themselves in the effectively unclaimed wilds between territories. Halflings, firbolgs, orcs and goblinoids are the most common races found outside of the main three races. Teiflings, giants and half races are not as common.   To the southeast of Meridia, far out into the ocean, is the more tropical twin islands of Ryuyama, a feudal meritocracy and home of the dragonborn race. The islands are vast tropical forests surrounding a volcano and mountain respectively.
