Wolf Demons

Wolf demons are the fairly similar to werewolves. They can shift into a human and a wolf. Their wolf form is much larger than the average wolf found in the human realm. Some packs stay in wolf form for the most part, others prefer to be in human. Each pack has a similar culture but it varies, some being more nomatic than others, some being more social than others. Something they share is all of them have the same ranking system. Alpha, beta and so forth. Alpha's lead the individual pack. To become an alpha one must challenge the current alpha and prove their strength. Beta's are considered the 'mom' of the pack. They take on day to day issues, while being a buffer against the more hot headed tended alpha's.
All the packs tend to be more territorial than the average demon town/city. Fighting is normal as long as it doesn't lead to death. Fighting is seen as a good way to vent emotions and then talk afterwards though there are rules to it just like everything else. Alpha's rarely get into fights with lower ranks often times just having to threaten to get involved for others to back down where younglings with no rank tend to fight constantly trying to improve their skills and thier ranks.

A lot of customs vary between packs. However some over arching customs would be.

A: On the full moon a celebration occurs worshiping their god to give them strength and guidance while they lose control to their animal side. (Day of full moon) Then to give thanks for surviving and eating well (Day after full moon) Most Day Of celebrations have to do with rowdy fun, hunting, fighting and sex. Day After celebrations tend to be feasting and relaxing, regaining one's humanity

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

For Males: Broad shoulders, strong jaw, and scars is seen as desirable. For Females: Smaller than the male, still a strong athletic build.

Gender Ideals

Men are expected to lead but women are not less than. They have full say in the pack's doing but all male and female bend the knee to the alpha. The alpha makes the final decision and depending on the alpha the pack can be ran as more of a male focus or equal. Women need to be strong and fairly independent as they are expected to fight, and defend the children.

Courtship Ideals

Similar to humans, wolf demons tend to be male leading the courtship though the women are expected to return the courtship with their own responses. Men can ask a woman out and then she will be expected to ask him the next time should she wish it to continue. If she does then it continues if she does not the man can try once more before being seen as forceful and unwelcoming.
It is not uncommon for men to get into physical fights, but it is also uncommon for women to. The culture is based around primal instincts and showing that one can handle themselves is as much of a courtship as bringing flowers to them.
