Thuleos - The Isle of Den

Thuleos or the Island of Den as it is called by the tribes who came from Den itself is a massive island in the center of the Ormic Sea. It is widely known that the isle has not always been there and had only appeared in the last several hundred years. When it first appeared, a great ice wall around Deghrom was also formed, many in the world believe that these two incidents are somehow linked, however no concrete evidence or research has been carried out due to the very nature of the isle itself.   The Isle seems to be suspended on and surrounded by great icebergs, massive in size and hundreds in number, tightly packed together. A mysterious fog constantly surrounded the isle, hanging over it like a mysterious white veil. Harsh winds and hails like arrows intensify around ships that get too close to it, the only ships that have ever been able to weather the approach was a vessel clad in iron plating. The Icebergs themselves are massively tall and there seems to be no way to penetrate into the island itself.   Both tribes of Den, the Beolthui and Beoltorr came from the isle hundreds of years ago. When it first appeared, glacial drifts carries these human tribes to the coasts on the northern and southern continents of Hybaura and Istros. These humans seemed to be partially amnesiac, they had memories of their names, who they were and what they were capable of but they knew not of their old homes, the isle from which they held or what they had done for the last several decades. Some tried to return to Den but reported back the new unnatural conditions which surrounded the isle and so the tribes of Den carried on in Deghrom, carving out new lands and kingdoms for themselves.   The Isle is still shrouded in mystery to this day. Sailors avoid it on their voyages through the Ormic Sea but it is ever present on the horizon, it's massive mountains reaching toward the sky, elevated by great icebergs underneath.
