Thuladoni

From Survivors to Conquerors 

The Thuladoni are the collective people of the world who migrated to the bountiful western lands of the northern continent around the Grand Kelish Forest. The mixing of these various cultures only occurred because of the aggressive campaigns of genocide carried out by Wild Elves to rid their sacred forest of all humans. All tribes of men were forced to band together, forming the Thuladoni people and the four great houses and Imperial house that now rule over the land. Inadvertently, the wild elves had caused the most powerful nation of man to form at the edge of their forest, they were, in less than a generations time, completely wiped out or enslaved by the Thuladoni, fated to be their slaves to this very day.
Thuladoni are an intrepid, versatile, curious and warlike people. Every Thuladoni is either directly part of or in service to one of the Great Houses or the Imperial fiefs. To maintain the balance of power, these factions within the Empire are always looking forward, trying to gain more power and advantages so they do not fall behind each other. At their very core, Thuladoni are competitive and ruthless, they know they are the best and if they aren't, they would do well to become such or suffer at the hands of those superior. Due to the mass enslaving of the Wild Elves, humans typically see elves and other races as meek, to be ruled over. Dwarves, however, are seen as allied foederati, beneficial useful to each others states. Each Thuladoni have their own strengths and weaknesses, it is up to them to figure out what those are and use them to their advantage.

Character

Thuladoni are known by their given name and familial name. Those who are directly part of a great house, introduce themselves as servants to their house. Example: Alexander Lothbrok, Servant of House Knossos Thuladoni of the upper class are known by their given name and the name of the house they belong to. This is followed by what branch of that houses government they are part of. Example: Tyros Knossos Tagmatos
The Great houses are not strict in their bloodlines. Most who find themselves as part of a family are usually adopted, chosen by a member of the family to serve based on their merit. This goes both ways, however, as someone who is born into a great house that does not have the ability to rule in some capacity will be disowned for their lack of ability.

Age Thuladoni live to the standard age of 50-75 years
Alignment Thuladoni have a great respect for law and are prone to being lawful. This is not always the case, this also usually only applies to the laws of Thuladon.

Speed Base speed for Thuladoni is 30 feet.
Language Thuladoni speak Thuladonic, they may choose one additional language to know.
Ability Score Increase Thuladoni can increase two abilities by one or one ability by two
Proficiency Thuladoni can choose one additional proficiency, Thuladoni are also proficient in the use of the Halberd.
Versatile Thuladoni may choose one additional starting feat.
