Unconquered Sun

Solaryus is the Chief god of the holy pantheon on Deghrom. He is the architect of the world and its inhabitants either through direct actions or through the actions of his subordinate gods. In the material world he acts as the patron to knowledge, life, light and is a wellspring of arcane energy to be drawn upon from mystic sorcerers and wizards. It is said the designs of Solaryus are beyond just Deghrom, yet he has the power to be ever present in the world, he prefers to allow all mortals to live freely, content to let them act of their own accord and observe what they do. It is thought by priests of Solaryus that he created this world and its people to learn from them.
Solaryus does not have a personification, rather he is the sun itself. Ever present hanging over the skies, providing light and life to all and in Deghrom the sun never goes down, it simply dims and brightens throughout the morning, day and dim times. Followers of Solaryus are some of the most stalwart paladins against the vile darkness, a byproduct of the creation of the world that exists beneath Deghrom.
