Myzali

The Myzali people have inhabited the Myzal desert, their namesake since the beginning of history. They are well acquainted with the sun and desert, running caravans from city to city. Great trade cities have been built in the desert of Myzal while the old tradition of bedouin clans perseveres in the north desert. Both Myzali in cities and nomadic are very accustomed to trade and are adepts at bartering. Both wealth and skill are valued in Myzali society, talented craftsmen and shrewd businessmen both contribute the most to the Myzali people, however, there are numerous mercenary bands that make a living robbing, protecting or running caravans and solving issues with a blade rather than coin. In recent times, the Myzali people have spread to the Myz Rainforest, where ambitious men have started strong militaristic city states.
In the great desert of Myzal, there is no way a mere man can survive. To survive, the Myzali way changed to a life of symbiosis with the desert creatures that inhabited the desert. It has been this way for centuries, Myzali have befriended and otherwise tamed the local fauna, living side by side so both species can prosper. This has been engrained into the Myzali way of life and the sell of exotic animals is a driving force in their economy. Almost every Myzali has had at least one tamed pet in their lifetime.

Myzali have a given name and will sometimes use a surname beginning with "Al" (Of) which denotes where they are from, be it an organization, city, caravan, etc.
