Dwarves of Deghrom

The Dwarves of Deghrom are a race of typically deep delving miners who iron, gems and other precious materials from Deghrom. They make their homes in high mountains or hills, digging out their cities and forming them with stonecrafting. Each dwarf stronghold has a differing culture.   Dwarves within the Thuladon Empire regularly commerce with humans, they are master wood workers, ship builders and brewers, being a beneficial part of the society there.    The Dwarves of Boghrim in the Ortysian realms are scholarly, like their human neighbors and seek arcane knowledge buried deep within the earth. It is said from their stronghold of Boghrim spans many tunnels into many great chasms where their cities and research posts are made.   The Dwarves of Bodhaan Torr are holy and righteous people, having integrated themselves into the society of the above ground human city there. They are great smiths of weapons and armor for both dwarf and humankind. They also create holy relics of great power, blessed by the Gods themselves, some say.   The Mountain Dwarves of Gros Ursor and the Black Mountains are isolationist, dwarf-centric supremacists. They consider themselves pure dwarves and are very militaristic, they rarely leave their mountain homes only to antagonize or be antagonized by their human neighbors. There was another stronghold in the great Istrosi mountain range that was lost to an unknown force, the mountain dwarves blame humans or elves for the disappearance.
