Beolthui

The Northern Tribe

The Beolthui are the northern tribe of the mysterious migrators from the Island of Den, known to all others on Deghrom as Thuleos. Hundreds of years ago, Den first appeared in the middle of the Sea of Ormus and glacial drift carried the confused and disoriented people, seemingly wiped of their memories. Only scrolls carried by future loremasters indicated anything of their culture, their ways, who they were as a people. While the Beoltorr carried scrolls telling of a great prophecy of a fight against evil, the Beolthui carried scrolls teaching of the ancient culture of the Tribe of Den and the veneration of their ancestors.   Beolthui are extremely traditionalist, having chosen to migrate to the far north of Deghrom so that they could live on the snowy tundras to once again tame the great Mammoths, and other ferocious dire beasts. Beolthui greatly respect strength and cunning and believe their mightiest warriors should be smart as well to avoid having their thinking done by fools or fighting done by cowards. Ancient bloodlines are also respected in the Earls of the Beolthui and it is widely accepted that the King of Thuiaden is descendent of the original High Chieftain of Den. It is also said that the Beolthui are a naturally curious and intrepid people, often exploring the world, especially around the great ice wall which they believe has some significance in regards to The Isle of Den.
