Personal history
Danica's first memories are of waking up in a cage surrounded by other inhuman individuals and exotic beasts. Within the month she was sold to a wealthy merchant to act as a bodyguard of sorts. In truth, her master had no need for such incompetent protection as he was plenty tough on his own.
What he did need was to form connections with titled individuals in hopes of obtaining a title of his own. To do that he needed a conversation piece, something exotic to spark interest so that he could have a chance to hobnob, and Danica happened to be the perfect accessory.
Her master may have been blessed with strength and wealth, but the social talents were not his strong suit. He had the rough sensibilities someone needs to work their way up from nothing, but an explosive temper that would ruin him. Danica was able to pull herself from the wreckage of his life and has since gained a new master, one who has allowed her to wander as she pleases. With her newfound semi-freedom, she has vowed to enjoy her life.
