Fort Damnation
A beacon of order standing against the darkness of the abyss, the entirety of the fortress emphasizes the cruelty and oppressiveness of hell. Most individuals light of heart tend to flee or become hardened by the aura of the fortress itself. Some scholars suspect that the fortress itself might be so similar to hell that it alters the fabric of the material plane becoming more akin to hell.
Purpose / Function
Fort Damnation primarily repels demonic invasions, it also contains Citidel Dinyar, the headquarters of the hellknight Order of the Godclaw.
Architecture
The majority of Fort Damnation's walls have been fashioned from stone reinforced with infernal steel. This infernal steel is crafted from iron but rather than mixing it with coal, it is mixed with the bodies of fallen soldiers and forged with hellfire.
