Il'yana

A sinister seeming race found deep within the blood forests of the south. They respect only power and crave dominance.   The Il'yana hierarchy works tirelessly to purge the weak from their ranks by allowing those who kill their superiors to have their post. Those who cannot dominate their underlings are viewed as weak and must not be allowed to bring the war tribes down.   The blood trees are integral to their survival but also the leading cause of death among young Il'yana. The trees need more nutrients in their soil, augmenting it with corpses of unsuspecting creatures dragged underground by their roots or beaten to death by their lashing branches. For the Il'yana's part they have adapted well to the blood trees and are one of the only groups who could possibly survive there. Naturally the Il'yana plant blood trees in land they claim so as to prevent the weaker races from removing them.   Random Il'yana Generator
