Feast Domain

https://thegenerictavern.wordpress.com/2018/03/08/homebrew-cleric-domain-domain-of-the-feast/
Clerics of this domain most often follow God Shet, Goddess Petbanise and God Doathao.   The gods of the feast are patrons of those who work with food, from a humble farmer who sews in the spring, and reaps in the fall, to the palace chef, mixing exotic spices and rare ingredients, creating a feast meant to give his liege the strength to bare the weight of authority. Followers of these deities seek to feed the hungry, ensure a good harvest, and enjoy the simple pleasure of a good meal shared with good people. Their magic allows them to infuse prepared meals with magical benefits for those who eat them, or to even summon a meal out of thin air.   Feast Domain Spells: (* = Homebrew, see below)   Cleric Level Spells   1st Goodberry, Create or Destroy Water   3rd Locate Animals or Plants, Protection from Poison   5th Create Food and Water, Tiny Hut   7th No-Calorie Pastries*, Secret Chest   9th Greater Restoration, Cake de Resistance*   Blessing of the Gourmand   You gain proficiency with cook’s utensils. If you are already proficient with them, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with them.   As an action, you can inspect a drink or plate of food within 5 feet of you and determine whether it is poisoned, provided that you can see and smell it. During a long rest, you can prepare and serve a meal that helps you and your allies recover from the rigors of adventuring, provided you have suitable food, cook’s utensils, and other supplies on hand. The meal serves up to six people, and each person who eats it regains two additional Hit Dice at the end of the long rest. In addition, those who partake of the meal have advantage on Constitution saving throws against disease for the next 24 hours.   Channel Divinity: A Spoonful of Sugar   Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to assist and nourish those around you.   As an action, you present your holy symbol and invoke the name of your deity. Each ally you can see within 30 feet of you finds that their mouth is filled with a spoonful’s worth of sugar and is able to either immediately expend one hit dice, or make a save against an ongoing effect.     Bread of Life   Starting at 6th level, your time working with flames and ovens has given you a resistance to fire damage. Whenever someone is under the effect of one of your meals and expends a hit dice to regain Hit Points, they can add your spell casting modifier to the amount rolled in place of their Constitution modifier.   Divine Strike   Starting at 8th level, you can add your Wisdom Modifier to the damage you deal with any Cleric Cantrip.   Master of the Oven   Starting at 17th level, your blessed affinity with the oven, and preparing delicious meals becomes more powerful.   You gain immunity to fire damage. Any healing granted by the consuming of Divinely Prepared Food is maximized; so that if the food would provide 2d6 healing, it simply gives the maximal value of 12. Homebrew Spells:     No-Calorie Pastries   You create up to six pastries infused with magical deliciousness. Somehow, everyone who eats one, tastes their favorite pastry. The pastries last up to 24 hours, after which time they disappear. A creature may use its action to consume a pastry and be healed for 2d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier. In addition, the creature may immediately make a save against any ongoing effect with advantage.     Casting Time: Ten Minutes   Classes: Cleric (Restriction – Feast Domain)   Components: VSM   Level: 4   Components: 250g worth of ingredients, including a bowl of pure silver, which the spell consumes.     Cake de Resistance   You create a wonderful cake that serves up to 6 people. The cake takes 20 minutes to consume, and the effects don’t set in until the ten minutes are over. A creature that partakes of your delicious cake gains resistance to a type of damage, based on what kind of cake you baked. (If a creature already has resistance to that type of damage, it gains immunity.) This effect lasts up to 8 hours.     Cake Types Resistance Gained Chocolate Psychic (*cough* Dementors *cough*) Vanilla Piercing, Slashing, and Bludgeoning from non-magical sources. (Vanilla dmg types.) Rum Cold (The Rum warms you up!) Iced-Cream FIre (Because it’s cold, get it?!) Fruit Acid (Not even acid can destroy a fruit cake!) Poppyseed Thunder (I don’t have anything witty here…my wife just makes Poppyseed Cake on stormy nights.) Carrot Lightning (Because carrots grow in the ground? I, I’m sorry, I’ve got nothin’ here.) Cheese Poison (Um…because cheese is basically a mold…and mold can be poisonous?…yeah….) Casting Time: Ten Minutes   Classes: Cleric (Restriction – Feast Domain)   Components: VSM   Level: 5   Components: 300g worth of ingredients, including a bowl of pure gold or ivory, which the spell consumes.
