Birth Domain

Birth celebrates the creation of life and the potential which comes with it. Birth is the counterpart to death in many cultures, be it working against the forces of death or acting as the counterbalance in a great cycle. Whatever its position in the hearts and minds of men, birth is a powerful symbol which brings hope to others. Birth also handles the concept of rebirth and the return of life to the world. Dieties such as Dhuddur grant this domain.

Gift of Life
At 1st level, you gain the Gift of Life. Gift of Life functions like Lay on Hands, except it is Wisdom based and it cannot heal the subject more than -1 hp. Instead, it can heal a creature which is beyond -10 hp and dead, so long as they are healed within 1 round/level and you spend enough points of healing to bring them to at least -9 hp. Creatures brought back experience no level loss or other penalties, except for a cumulative -1 penalty on all dice rolls. This penalty lasts for 24 hours, reducing by 1 point each day.
