There are many monasteries throughout the kingdom that practice different traditions and philosophies, ranging from pacifist isolationists, to martial arts specialists that actively protect their towns or simply master martial arts as a spiritual practice. Some monasteries share their teachings freely with the community while others require complete devotion to study with them.
