Aarakocra

A race of avian humanoids hailing from the elemental plane of air. In the material realm they tend to roost in high, unreachable places such as mountain peaks, cliffs, and the tallest trees of the oldest woodlands. They are naturally flighty, more at home in the air than on the ground, but can range in temperament as do the colors of their plume. Some aarakocra resemble small songbirds, others have peaks like parrots, and others bear resemblances to eagles, hawks, or crows. Each has its own unique tribe, aerie, and culture, and one would be wise not to mistake one for another.
