Sun elves are a subset of high elves, although they would rather consider other elves to have originated from them.

Sun elf poetry, art, and music are large scale and grand, with the favoured genres being tragic epics and heroic ballads. Sun elves are highly literate, and love learning, with no self respecting member of society being unable to read or write.

Sun elves have a deep respect for magic, and a good deal of their studies revolved around this. This manifests as an advantage in magical abilities, as sun elves have collections of information and lore uncomparable to any other.

Common Dress code

Sun elves favour beautiful yet understated clothes. Typically clothing is finely crafted, and in cool or neutral colors, blue, green, brown, etc.

Due to the fact that sun elves typically consider themselves to be above everyone else, it is considered taboo to have too much interaction with other races, including other elves.

Beauty Ideals

Sun elves stand around the same height as humans, but with noticeably thinner frames. They have bronze colored skin, usually medium in tone. They usually have blonde, copper or black hair grown long and styled to represent their position in society. Their eyes are typically green, although golden colors are not unheard of.

Gender Ideals

Male sun elves typically stand taller and weigh more than female elves.
