The Battle Between Hades & Zeus

1791

After many years of training and preparation, Hades and SonicPhantom were finally ready to strike down Zeus and take the throne as the true ruler of Greece.

Hades and SonicPhantom led the charge onto the kingdom of Zeus. They gathered all warriors of the Underworld and charged to the front gates of Zeus kingdom in the Overrealm. Zeus and his soldiers never expected it, there was so much bloodshed, the soldiers of Zeus were struck down little by little, standing no chance against the armies of Hades and SonicPhantom.   Zeus attempted to flee to the main realm by going through his portal but it was struck by a blast of fire by SonicPhantom. This caused a crossover between the two realms, Zeus' kingdom and the real world of Greece merged together in absolute chaos. So much destruction was caused and Zeus knew now that he had no choice but to fight, him and SonicPhantom stood across from each other, Sonic had prepared his whole life for this and Zeus had been built to survive attacks against him from other gods. Zeus used his lightning staff whilst Sonic used his sword, he battled with each other, Zeus striking Sonic with bolts of lighting while he retorted with blasts of fire.   It was equally matched up, however, Sonic eventually managed to best Zeus, he whacked his lightning staff away and stabbed him in the stomach twice before stabbing him in the chest, Zeus bled from his mouth profusely but he wasn't ready to give up. He still had the powers of lightning within him and he blasted Sonic away in a blast of electricity, exclaiming that Sonic would not be the one to strike him down. Then, from behind him, the voice of Hades appeared and said that he would be the one to kill Zeus instead. Zeus turned around only to be battered by Hades mighty hammer.   Hades then picked up Zeus who was severely injured, on the verge of death, he looked up at Hades who had a satisfied smile on his face as he looked upon the now weak God. Hades spoke 'Fairwell God of Thunder' before pressing down upon Zeus and bending his backwards, Hades pressed down upon Zeus until almost all of the bones in his body were broken, Zeus' neck broke and he appeared to have been killed. Hades picked up his now floppy body and held it up in pride before tossing it away like a piece of trash. He then stood side-by-side with SonicPhantom as they both stood atop the kingdom and looked over what remained of Greece after the violent battle.   At first, they were both proud of what they had achieved, they were proud of themselves and of each other. But then, Hades seemed to have a seedling of doubt in his adopted son, it is not known what made him feel this way but he felt the need to test his son one last time to see if he truly was fit to rule under him as the prince of Greece. Hades ordered one of his Cyclops' to go attack what remained of the nearing civilians who cowered in fear. Hades knew that Sonic wanted efficiency over everything, he knew that we wanted to utilise everything they had and so he tested that. When Sonic questioned what Hades was doing, Hades responded that Sonic was taught not to question him and that he had no reason to kill those civilians other than for entertainment.   Sonic was confused and for the first time in years, he went against his fathers orders and killed the Cyclops which stormed towards the civilians. He burst through the giants chest which killed it instantly. he stood atop the beasts corpse and was further confused to find that the civilians were applauding him, believing him to be their saviour.   Then, Hades came down and expressed his disappointment in Sonic for disobeying him, he claimed that Sonic was no longer loyal and was no longer fit to rule as the prince of Greece. Sonic tried to retort but he was shut down. He was told that he could no longer remain in Greece as there was no place for him anymore.   After a couple days, Sonic was sent off on his own, it pained Hades but he believed that it had to be done. Hades told Sonic that it would be best for him to reunite with his true father who could find a new purpose for him. As disappointed as Sonic was, he still believed in Hades and took his words to heart. He went off on his own, flying over the sea back to Hell, never to return to Greece for another many years.
