The Tillway

The major highway that runs from Kornoba to Tillia through the Northern Territory.

Purpose / Function

Provides a safe, straight route from the port city of Kornoba all the way to Tillia, nearly two thousand miles apart across the northern Venra.

Compacted dirt road as wide as two wagons.

History

Constructed during the reign of Emperor Cornelius Tillia in hopes to gain enough favor for the region to join the Tillian Empire willingly. Compacting dirt, clearing a path through the Great Forrest and removing stumps took over forty years of work before completed. Once finished, trade boosted drastically in the northern region of Venra but nearly all of the settlements effected by the Tillway were still reluctant to be annexed into the empire.
