Duergar

Deep in bowels of the earth, there lives a race that has not seen the light of the sun for generations. Duergar live in seclusion, amassing their wealth, in small mining towns with no real leaders or rules. They fight among themselves, their greed their only companion. They live in constant fear of losing their precious metals and gems, and of being enslaved by the dreaded Drow.

Duergar live deep underground, and only exit the tunnels when forced to, either to escape their Drow Elf oppressors or under orders from them. Their skin is grey, and their hair black. They cannot grow beards, due to a curse placed upon them generations ago, and as a rule they hate Mountain Dwarves for their full beards and long hair.
