General Physical Condition

Chronos prefers to appear as an old, thin, human male in his apparent 60s-70s, with long, paper-white hair and a beard that reaches the floor and drags behind him for several feet.

Facial Features

Smile Lines and wrinkles cover a leathery, frail-looking face, lending to the impression that Chronos has been around long enough to see empires rise and fall, creatures evolve and go extinct, and many more world-changing events throughout his reign.

Physical quirks

Chronos leans on a walking stick heavily when he walks, and his body sometimes shakes when he moves, further adding to the illusion that he is as frail as he is old.

Apparel & Accessories

Chronos prefers to appear in a thin, white robe that falls off of his thin shoulders, and a pair of brown sandals that expose his gnarled feet.

Personal history

Father Time was created to rule over the Chronosphere and oversee the passage of time. While some magics can change or halt the flow of time in an area or for an individual, it is Chronos who prevents magical alteration of the flow of time itself, and it is his job to fix any hiccups or issues in the timeline, or paradoxes created by magical time travel.

Morality & Philosophy

Chronos cares for his subjects, and all other inhabitant of the cosmos. But what matters most to him is that time flow ever forward, and the timeline remain intact. He would sacrifice anything, or anyone to keep time marching forward, including himself, albeit reluctantly in many cases.
