Scoria (skoːɾiɒ)

Scoria is a guild of Smiths. Even though they are not a household name to the commonfolk, anyone that knows enough about crafting or magical items has at least heard about them. They are currently considered one of the great smithing guilds, and the most influential Smiths of Elkinhold, pioneering in Blood Crystal infusions.

Structure

They mainly operate inside Solvhome & Steelfort, and sell high quality - sometimes even Blood Crystal infused - weapons and armor. They employ Smiths, Artificers, Guards, and Spies.

Public Agenda

They want to make the best equipment there can ever be.

History

They were always good at their profession, but they only became outstanding, and considered masters of their craft once they discovered the secrets of Blood Crystal infusion. They used to be a family guild before the passing of Solvheim Scoria, the last of their blood. Due to their wealth, and the success of the late Solvheim Scoria they continued operation as a regular guild carrying the Scoria name with them.
