Altar to Bara-vui

Altar to Bara-vui is an altar somewhere inside the Artifact Lakes that has a plate you can put your sacrifice or donation to Bara-vui into. The text in Draconic written around the altar describes this exact sentence. There is one problem though, nobody - not even the local Lizardfolk - know who Bara-vui is, and so far not a single benefit has been witnessed following a sacrifice. In fact, most times the sacrifice was just stolen by someone walking by.

Purpose / Function

None, apart from providing a tiny shelter from rain. Some might also use the altar's insignificance to their advantage by gathering here in order to discuss secrets and plans.

Alterations

Apart from some degradation over time, nobody really bothered to alter the altar. Some parts of the walls and the stones around also have additional etchings of images and messages. The base carvings make it quite easy for these etchings to stay hidden / unnoticed.

Architecture

Its architecture matches that of the Artifact Lakes. The altar and the surrounding stones are decorated with various symbols carved into them, but these designs have no message, they just blend into the rest of the lakes without anything to say.

History

A vast amount of Lizardfolk tribes have held the Altar to Bara-vui within their territory, yet apart from a few battles here and there, it has never had a significant role. It's not in an easily defensible position, nor around anything otherwise important / worth protecting, so it has kind of just existed as an afterthought in the histories of Lizardfolk tribes.
