Personality
The Starbeast is an unfathomably large, ancient Daiten. It lives in deep space, feeding on the souls of dead stars. It rarely comes into contact with others of its kind, and if it does it speaks to them not in words but in feelings, mental impressions which are sometimes so alien as to be unintelligible.It is not hostile or aggressive, but it struggles to understand beings smaller than itself. It becomes fond of others very easily, but it struggles to express affection and is difficult to properly understand.
Spacefaring monster hunters across the galaxy have attempted to slay it, but it is immortal and untouchable; the space it occupies in space is something of a Bermuda Triangle, in which ships go missing and very few people know exactly why...
