Dagaz

Located in the solar system of Proxima Centuri, Dagaz is home to a humanoid race called the Eir, humanity's closest neighbors. The Eir evolved from mammals, and at a similar time and speed to humanity, but also evolved quite differently - their blood contains mercury, which they evolved as a defense mechanism, and they can manipulate atoms - and therefore objects - via electromagnetic pulses.   The climate of Daguz is fairly similar to that of Earth, as both planets are roughly the same distance away from their respective stars - however, Daguz is much more wild. The planet suffers from frequent electrical storms, which are highly dangerous to anyone unfortunate enough to be caught out in them. The geography is also fairly similar to that of Earth, but fewer tectonic plates means less earthquakes and tsunamis, as well as less continents.   A monarchy is the system of government used across all continents on Daguz, but currently there is turmoil - the king and queen of Fujin have been assassinated, and their sons and daughters are all missing - have they perished too, or have they fled to safety? The royal family of Falldragon are suspected of committing the murders, but with no hard evidence accusations are being thrown around left, right and center. If the royal children of Fujin could be found, they could identify the people who killed their parents once and for all. But with all of them missing, it seems as if the entire planet of Daguz as about to descend into war.
