Demon Steel

Steel forged in the lowest level of the nine hells. Weapons made from this material ignore immunities and resistances to nonmagical weapons, in addition to this they also rend the soul of any creature they kill. The soul is destroyed ensuring permanent death and no afterlife.
Known weapons made from the material include:

• Fang of the Gate Keeper - Made from a compound that includes Demon Steel, because of this it looses the ability to rend the soul.
• Sanguine's Kiss - A halberd that was once in the ownership of the Vampire Lord Vladimir Dracula Tepes, gifted to him by Asmodeus.

Properties

Material Characteristics

This cracked steel has veins of glowing red acting like fissures in the metal. Its natural dark coloration makes it easy to recognise from the legands and stories told by extraplaner beings.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The raw metal is hot to the touch and only cools after being forged. Even after the forging is complete it is still quite warm.

Geology & Geography

Thwe raw compound can only be found in the Nine Hells, and some places in the Abyss.
