Myrtan

Myrtan (MEER-tan) is the Cytherean goddess of life and death, and sometimes fertility and sickness. She is commonly depicted as a blue haired dwarf maiden and walks with a limp. She can draw forth souls from mortals as if pulling water from a well, or replace souls from the afterlife into a body following their death. It is said her domain lies on Myr, the moon orbiting Cytherea.
Myrtan is most often worshiped by physicians, healers, and midwives, who typically pray to a single aspect of her form rather than all that she is known for. Clerics of Myrtan seek to treat disease and sickness where possible, while recognizing that death is but the other side of a coin from life. They often preside over both funerals and births.
