Whisper Wolf

Rail thin dogs towering 3 meters tall each, whisper wolves are husky-like dogs that usually reside in the Kylin Pass. Used mainly by Mages for travel, they can be placed under control. Not naturally wild, they tend to be watchers in the night, appearing as nothing more than eyes in the forest of the mountains. Many regular people consider them to be creepy because of the fact that they are able to move silently despite their large size.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Built like the huskies found in the Northern Tundra, they are wolf/husky-like creatures. Each with four legs, and a long tail, they are covered in bushy fur especially around their long tails. All built incredibly thin, they are light creatures that are often soft-footed. Their only muscular, skeletal, and organ systems included only what is needed and as compact as possible, lending to their light bodies.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Each wolf has a slightly different pattern. They are, generally, a very dark brown color with fur swirled with grey and black. The coloring of their fur allows them to easily travel in the night without being noticed, leaving only patches of darkness in their wake. The most distinct feature of the wolves is their golden eyes, acting as glowing beacons in the night, though whisper wolves will tend to remain high enough above the ground for no creature to notice their eyes.
