Superior Guild

The highest guild of all, holding the greatest position of power in Cysian. Having earned its power from the turmoil around the Nomadic Restructuring, it tends to stay out of the public and simply attempts to allow the countries and territories around the North and South to live in peace. The Superior Guild also serves the purpose of managing the other guilds, who run most jobs and professions. The Superior Guild is also the only guild with a military, having the ability to call on over 5.4 regular civilians, not including all of the other guilds for an army. This is the most powerful army in the world, having the ability to call on nearly 6% of the total world population, 5.4 times larger than the Lypian Army. The complete workers of the guild add up to 6 million, with around 600 thousand other members; these other members are broken down into the actual active members, all of the members of the other guilds, and other agents who are out in the world monitoring.

Structure

The Superior Guild has a large system and network of roles and ranks. Aside from the Council of Elders, also known as the Council of Superiors, who is the legislative body, they have a wide variety of groups who make decisions over different parts of the world. The governments of all other guilds come together to vote on the decisions of the Superior Guild. However, there are also a large number of unnamed roles within the guild making up the several hundred thousand members each holding a different role within the system. There is also a single dictatorial leader who generally stays away from the actions of the guild, acting as a backup plan should the oligarchy system fall apart.

Legislation

The guild's legislative body, while not often coming together, is made up of the highest-ranking member from each guild. They, when coming together, are responsible for making laws that are impactful across all of the world. Due to the power that the guild's laws hold, they will rarely move to make laws instead of choosing to let the government of the rest of the world govern themselves wherever possible. The legislative body also acts as the judicial body wherever possible, but generally, the judging is done within the system or by the other guilds.

Public Agenda

The agenda of the Superior Guild is widely known; it has the idea to allow the world to govern themselves while being the most powerful organization. The guild's main goals are to keep the world in balance and to prevent global destruction at the hands of armies. Their goals also aline with keeping peace and holding control of the world without too close of a reign. The goals have be solidified since 4 CM once the main turmoil of the Nomadic Restructuring was over.

Assets

The Superior Guild, while not owning much land, is in possession of the largest army and supply of weapons and equipment. Much of it is stored in the Western-most mountains of the Kylin Pass, protected by the Mage's Guild. The peak is also the location of the only guildhall, as all of the guildhalls of the other branches have several rooms dedicated to being used by the Superior Guild.

History

The history of the Superior Guild is fairly straightforward as, after their founding, they have rarely taken up action against other countries. Originally formed 2 years after the estimated date of the Nomadic Restructuring, they grew to power very quickly by recruiting from the distraught civilizations. Their main actions to date have been to take down the Genine Empire, who was attempting to wipe out large amounts of their own population in a dictatorial action, letting the Lypian Empire take over. The second-largest act was in the year of 344 CM when they sent out a few different Mages to deal with the actions of the Anarchist's Guild. Beyond that, the guild has only ever made laws to deal with actions throughout the years and kept to the shadows, not participating in the Lypian Empire's conquest of control. However, in recent years it is thought that the Superior Guild has begun to slow the Lypian Empire's conquest by keeping its army from crossing to the South.

Territories

The Superior Guild holds very little land of their own. Having control over the rest of the guilds, they technically own the land of the other guilds but are yet to call on their right to the land at all. The only section of land that they truely work with is the Golden Peak in the Kylin Pass, where they keep many of their assets.

Military

The specific layers and organizations of the army of the Superior Guild are not set in stone as the army has rarely been called together in numbers greater than 200 thousand(when taking down the Genine Empire) years ago. The large numbers have been divided into smaller sections, of which only the Council of Elders knows the actual system for. The only system that has been held throughout was the Council of Elders holding a system for calling on members of the army should they need the army.

Foreign Relations

The Superior Guild plays very little with the other systems of governments. They are still on positive terms with all other guilds, nations, and empires across the world; however, the Superior Guild is holding back on dealing with the Anarchist's Guild as they are growing in power and trying to take down the guilds, while having absolutely no chance with the large numbers of ranks that the Superior Guild has.
