Lypian Empire

The Lypian Empire, currently holding all of the North of Cysian, is the leading political power of the world. Having conquered everything to the North East of the Kylin Pass under the control of Kalyus the Great. It was formed just over a century after the Nomadic Restructuring, spending the following 200+ years expanding its boarders.

Structure

Prior to Kalyus the Great taking control of the empire, all of the power of the empire was placed in a king. The king had complete control. However, during the beginning of his reign, Kalyus began his changes. The first was to create a Yxouram that would have the ability to stop any action of the king should they feel it right, though citizens will get to choose their Yxouram. A second set was for Kalyus to create Yawiyx who rules over provinces where they had the powers of a king while still reporting to the king. Yxourams were also elected for each province. All positions were still required to report to the king. As well, the title of the king was renamed to a more fitting "Emperor".

Legislation

The emperor of the empire will usually hold the position, capable of controlling nearly all of the empire with an, usually, iron fist. Yawiyx also have permission to slightly alter the laws within their own city. The Yawiyx were also given a large amount of control with the Emperor, while still being a title underneath the emperor.

Judicial

Yxouram will usually head all law and hold judgments, whether through recruited skilled workers or on their own, usually dependent upon the size of the province. As the followers and restrictors of the Yawiyx and Emperor, the Empire founding it fitting to also give them the control over decisions such as judging.

Public Agenda

The goal of the Lypian Empire, until Kalyus the Great achieved it, was to be able to control all of the North. However, their new, tyranical, ruler has decided to expand the conquest to the South.

Foreign Relations

Currently, though it may be at steak, the Lypian Empire is on trading terms with the South. This trade agreement was due to an agreement between a previous empire and the South. The South agreed to keep the trading when Kalyus the Great conquered the previous empire. However, this relationship has been tense recently as news of military action beginning in the North has begun to spread to and through the South.
