Sanat

A.K.A. The Father of Monsters, The Lying Teeth, Darkness Incarnate, Mercurial Destroyer, among others

Sanat is the evil counterpart to Javat and most commonly worshiped by secret evil cults and monsters. Sanat propagates chaos and evil in the world, and unlike his opposite is more directly active in the affairs of mortals. He acts through his creations - the monsters - as well as the magical miasma that creates the darktouched . He has no consistent teachings, most of the records that pertain to worship of Sanat are nonsensical and often contradictory, almost as if decided on a whim.

Symbolism

Usually, if depicted at all, Sanat appears as a vaguely humanoid being made of darkness, occasionally with extra appendages like bat wings, lizard tail or dark tendrils growing from his back. His face is featureless save for a massive grinning mouth filled with triangular sharp teeth. His holy symbol takes many forms, always featuring the iconic grin.
