Reptonians

The lizards of the desert are a dour people who remember many misfortunes that befell them and rarely find joy in life. These days they are a people without a land to call their own, living under an oppressive regime.

Hardy but Vulnerable

Reptonians are accustomed to a harsh environment, that being he hot and dry sands of the desert. They look like humanoid lizards living in small communities. Their homes are both over and underground and usually around oases. They thrive in this environment despite it's natural hostility, yet struggle in any other conditions, especially in the cold. Outside their desert environments they almost always wear a comically excessive amount of warm clothing.

Stone Faced Stoics

Reptonians do not express emotions as vividly as other races, but they experience them just as much. To outside observers they seem detached and emotionless, and they like being seen that way. With each other they have means of communicating emotion through unique means however. They often use their ability to be shrew and lie and manipulate people to do their bidding.

Loose Culture

Reptonians don't have a unified culture per se. Instead they live in small communities that sometimes trade. As such, reptonians tend to be very individualistic and rarely altruistic. They especially have a record of seeing other races as inferior or expendable in pursuit of their own goals. At present, they live under the rule of the Wobaian Cesarium, which does not treat them kindly. In fact they are considered second class citizens. For this reason they often leave their ancestral homes to become adventurers.

Reptonian Names

Reptonians don't recognize each other by name but by appearance and smell, some adopting nicknames. Among other races they adopt nicknames that are concepts they think they embody like Cunning, or some that represent their outward appearance like One Eye.
