Guilds and Factions

A number of guilds operate within Bruizel, starting from the Adventurer's guild, through number of craftsmen guilds, largest being the blacksmith's and merchant's guilds. The clergy is a very influential faction, often stirring trouble within the populace which it has a large influence over. The nobility living within the city's border is the de facto ruling class and occasionally clashes with the clergy, leading to constant power struggle.

History

The city was originally founded by Radovia and remained under it's control until the Wobaian Expansion Wars, where it fell under the influence of Wobai up until it was recovered when Saint Garurugon lead the counteroffensive against the invasion, leading to the foundation of the Bright Order. Territorial disputes in the following years has led Bruizel to be taken over by Wobai and Eastern Marches and then back to Radovia, leading to it's somewhat mixed population. Currently it is back under Radovian control.

Points of interest

The city features a sizeable castle, traditionally called Fort Overseer, as it began it's life as one before being expanded in later years. A less appealing location is a Ruined House in the Small Quarter.
