The Dr. & The Daughter
After being paid by Director Anderson and leaving the Atlas Corp. HQ the group is stopped by a young woman named Ava. She tells them that she and someone else need their help in relation to the mission the group just completed for Atlas Corp. and it is very urgent. (If the group agrees to talk with Ava and her unknown accomplice), Ava leads the group into the depths of the city (Coriton) until they reach a rundown apartment complex. They go into the basement where they find a sort of living space/computer lab. There Ava introduces them to a middle age woman named Dr. Tano who is also Ava's mother. They also meet her android CAZ45 or Caz.
Dr. Tano firsts asks the group about the job they just completed for Atlas Corp, wanting every detail. She then explains to them that she used to work for Atlas Corp., up until recently, as the Head of Bio-science at Research Facility Alpha, on Skroth 35. Her and her team had discovered a fungus there and while doing test they found that it had parasitic tendencies, they named it "The Infection". An accident occurred where one of the lab scientist was exposed to the fungus. It quickly spread through his body, growing pustules and on his body as well as decaying his flesh. They were able to put him into cryo-sleep quick enough for it not to spread to anyone else. Dr. Tano then contacted Atlas Corp. warning them about the dangers of what they had found on Skroth 35, Atlas Corp. didn't listen. Instead they fired Dr. Tano from her position and continued on with the research.
Dr. Tano then explains to the group that she still has allies inside of Atlas Corp. and she has been trying to find out what Atlas Corp. is going to do with the fungus, and believes that the group maybe able to help her accomplish that goal. She needs the group to break into Atlas Corp. HQ and download data from their servers, but they won't just let them walk right in, the place is heavily secured. They will need security passes and Atlas Security Uniforms. Dr. Tano knows a man who can provide fake passes, her daughter (who used to work for Atlas Security) can provide the uniforms. Dr. Tano's contact (who goes by Sal) is on Valhalla, (a space station of sorts where the super rich live and spend their wealth). She warns that Sal is not to be trusted but they used to be friends and he might do this favor for them if they says its for her.
Dr. Tano also offers Caz to the group. She states that he is a decent pilot and can assist them on their travels.
