Jenia

Jenia is a small lonely planet near the edge of the settled systems. It was once home to a few thriving cities and had a large agricultural industry. It was also home to one S.E.T's (Space Exploration Technologies, a space travel/exploration company) biggest installations. Set was working on new ways to make hyper-drives more efficient and powerful. However a meltdown of one of their experimental hyper-drives led to a catastrophic nuclear explosion unlike any man kind has ever seen. The explosion ripped half the planet apart killing millions in a matter of minutes, and the fallout killed millions more within the next few days. Shortly after S.E.T was sued and went bankrupt, the company was then disbanded. No-one lives on Jenia, but there are rumors that desperate outlaws and pirate group hide out there. There is also rumored to be vast amounts of tech in the ruins of S.E.T buildings not completely destroyed in the explosion.
