Cyberpunk: Oracle Timeline

What is the Oracle Timeline?

  Cyberpunk: Oracle Timeline is the name for the version of Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk universe in which my TTRPG takes place. For the most part, this world will stick to the canon set forth by Pondsmith and R.Talsorian Games. However, any events that happen in certain campaigns and referenced back to in future campaigns are not canon to Pondsmith's Cyberpunk Timeline.   The Pondsmith Cyberpunk universe largely follows real world history until the timeline diverges from our own in 1990. After this point, a rise in corporate power and global disasters lead to a dark future where technology has spread faster than can be managed; cybernetic enhancements are as common as buying new clothes; and a hypercapitalist dystopia is the normal day to day life for the people who are just trying to survive.

Cyberpunk: City of Dreams

This is the first story that takes place within the Oracle Timeline. This campaign follows a novice Edgerunner crew called the Overdogs in the year 2073, as they struggle against the ruthless streets and cut-throat politics of Night City's underworld. As they slowly rise up in terms of reputation, they begin to discover a dark conspiracy that is brewing within the neon lights and laserpop front of the City of Dreams.   CoD explores themes of dedication, zeal, and the ethics of transhumanism. How will the Overdogs survive in a dark future where the body is no longer sacred and the meaning of what humanity is becomes blurred. What happens when all you want to do, is save the people in the world you hold so dearly...?  

Cyberpunk: Hyperion

  Have you got what it takes to work for the foundational corporation of Night City? The titular Night Corp pulls strings behind the scenes as Arasaka and Militech vye for control of this town. As such, to be promoted into Night Corp's counter-intelligence division is one of the greatest honors for any pencil pusher at the company.   Hyperion will follow Ghostrunner Squad, the newest operational group within Night Corp's counter-intel. They have been assigned with a crucial task to the department - corporate cleanup. A simple job to retrieve data from a fallen megacorp will slowly reveal challenges for the Ghostrunners; both externally and internally, that could change the future of Night City forever.   This isn't about personal glory, found family or fighting for the greater good. This is survival of the fittest to ensure you can continue to live safely and comfortably in one of the most dangerous cities in America.  

Cyberpunk: Neokitsch

  For every 100 skeezed out gonks floundering on a street corner, there is a celebrity living in the lap of unattainable luxury. The heights of North Oak stand as a giant in the Western world's entertainment industry, one large enough to even rival Hollywood. As Los Angeles became mainstream, many stars migrated to working in the more exclusive Night City to chase their dreams of becoming global stars.   Neokitsch will give a snapshot into the lives of a group of people who make their living within the talent churning meatgrinder of Fourth Wall Studios in Night City. Some are celebrities in their own right, others managers, and the rest are mindless drones trying to earn some sort of scratch in the entertainment industry. However, these walls fall down when the violent death of one of the studio's movie stars causes a controversial coverup that certain members of the company cannot overlook.   Eddies, sleaze, party drugs and corruption plague the hills of North Oak and will be the world you find yourself immersed in. Explore a different side to Night City - the world of the rich and famous, which just so happens to be as cutthroat as the gang ridden streets. Are you ready to sell your soul for fame and glory?  

Cyberpunk: Coronado Vice

  Night City is well known for being infested with violent gangs that have carved the city up by the district. Everyone has heard of the Tyger Claws, the Animals, Maelstrom; but there is more to the underworld than petty factionalism and Edgerunning. Crime syndicates have survived into the dark future, with three prominent families setting up shop in the City of Dreams, each related to one different organisation: The Italian Mafia, the Japanese Yakuza and the Chinese Triads.   Coronado Vice will follow a group of made men who work for one of these families in Night City, with hopes of keeping a fragile peace between the three organizations. However, with corporations trying to dig their claws in, Edgerunners hunting down members of each group and the NCPD breathing down your necks, it is going to be challenging to etch out a living. But, play your cards right, and you'll find yourself with more eurodollars than you can shake a mantis blade at.   Crime Syndicate hierarchies, brutal solutions to simple problems and the constant fear that one major fuck up will lead to your ousting from your group. Being a made man in a crime family isn't easy, but with the right connections, the smartest brains and the smoothest charisma, you might just have a chance choom.
