Session Report 9

General Summary

The dark figure attempted to snatch Ireena from Russel's embrace with no success. This struggle over the safety of Ireena had left her dazed and stunned besides the initial yelp when the dark figure had burst through the glass window. This yelp is what drew Carlos out of his dream and into lucid reality. And so Carlos leapt to his feet, naked and unperturbed by that fact as he barged through the front door of Russel and Ireena's room.   Carlos at once held his dick up to his stomach, exposing the true magnitude of dark elf testicles to this enigma of darkness. The figure of darkness puffed into a steamy cloud and fucked off, swirling out the window in the breeze. The three shared a few soothing words after those tense, adrenaline pumping moments and then each went to bed, with some struggling to sleep more than others.   In the morning the Ruffians walked down to the first floor of the Blue Water Inn and Gunter discussed the job details with Urwin. Urwin tells Gunter he will pay the party 100 GP and a cask of wine when they return with his requested delivery. The deal was struck!   After a delicious breakfast, Ireena bids farewell to Russel and the crew as they venture outside the Vallaki walls.   The ruffians set out first for the Vistani encampment outside the walls of Vallaki. They wanted to visit Dino Mite who had been reported here and Stanimir who was last seen heading towards this encampment.   The ruffians found their way to the encampment rather easily after taking a winding sidepath off the main svalich road. As the party neared the encampment they were able to spy the entirety of the complex as the trees thinned and eventually cleared.   The woods part to reveal an expansive clearing: a small, grass-covered hill with low houses built into its sides. Fog obscures the details, but you can see that these buildings feature elegantly carved woodwork and have decorative lanterns hanging from their sculpted eaves. Atop the hill, above the fog, is a ring of barrel-topped wagons that surround a large tent with a column of smoke pouring out through a hole in the top. The tent is brightly lit from within. Even at this distance, you can smell the odors of wine and horses that emanate from this central area.   There are two elven guards who approach as the party nears. One appears to be female and the other male, both with their silver blond hair braided into several strands. The female's eyes were of a deep Iris and the male's of a deep Silver.   The dusk elves explained to the party that they could not approach, even after the party explained their credentials and camaraderie within the vistani encampment.   One of the guards eventually went to grab Dino Mite to vouch for the party to which Dino did yet only two of the party were allowed to enter.   As Gunter and Carlos followed Dino Mite to the main tent, the sounds of screaming and sobbing came within earshot. The source of these sobs and screams was deduced to be the human male tied up in the main tent who was currently being given a wet willie by the man standing over him.   The man standing over him looks up and greets Dino Mite, asking who these visitors are. Dino Mite introduces Gunter and Carlos and introduces the arching man as Arrigal. Other than Arrigal arching over the chair, there is only one other humanoid in the room, with that being the brother of Arrigal, Luvash.   After a quick chat with the brothers on where Stanimir was, turns out he went west to the village of Krezk before leaving for the outside world through the mist. He left about a day ago for Krezk.   Before leaving the encampment Gunter talked with Dino Mite regarding the progress of the heist yet Dino Mite had no current updates and told Gunter he would give him more details soon.   With their two leads in the Vistani encampment followed up, the party once again headed out, this time towards the Wizards of the Vine Winery. This destination was decided upon after some discussion over whether to head to Krezk immediately to stop and question Stanimir or to head down towards the winery and get the wine needed for Urwin.   As the ruffians navigated towards the winery, the party became lost at one point and took a right onto a meandering dirt path. Eventually this dirt path led them to a clearing with a single stone tower overlooking a lake. The party examined their map and realized they went the wrong way. After a quick correction, the party was able to make it onto the correct dirt path towards the winery.   As the ruffians came out of a thicket of trees they could spy the winery sitting atop a hill in the clearing. A light drizzle begins to fall. Unpainted fences blindly follow the trail, which skirts north of a sprawling vineyard before bending south toward a stately building. The fog takes on ghostly forms as it swirls between the neatly tended rows of grapevines. Here and there, you see rope-handled half-barrels used for hauling grapes. North of the trail is a large stand of trees. A man wearing a dark cloak and cowl stands at the edge of the trees, beckoning you.   When the party approaches the man, he introduces himself as Davian Martikov and then goes on to explain that the winery has been taken over by druids who live in the woods south of the winery. Davian goes on to explain that his family(eight other humans stand around him, most children) who resides with him here were able to escape before the druids sacked the place.   The ruffians immediately begin to demand money from Davian in exchange for clearing the winery of these beasts and druids yet Davian seemed adamant that since the ruffians had taken a job from his son Urwin, Davian saw no need to pay the adventurers since they were already heading towards the winery and would need to clear the place in order to get the wine from inside the winery. Before the ruffians left, they asked Davian where the remaining wine was and he gave three locations.   There are three barrels in the loading dock , plus another three barrels and several wine bottles in the cellar. There is more wine still fermenting.   After about five minutes of a 2% grade hill walk, the ruffians had made it to the winery perched atop this grassy gnoll. Kif leapt at the chance to explore the winery and began circling the place, looking for any clues to the enemies within.   As Kif circled the winery, he heard the rustling of branches and twigs all around him. In a matter of seconds Kif found himself surrounded by sentient creatures of wine vines, twisty twigs, and bent branches. Gunter rushed to his aid as the rest of the ruffians fought off the creatures from the right.
