Session Report 15
General Summary
The muskrats set out for the Tser falls camp after a night of rest. The ruffians passed through Vallaki with their only stop being paying the gate fee. They got to Dino's that night and went over what the gear was and the plan for the heist.
The formuloli team would be Dino, Gunter, Kiff and Pablo while the loot team would be Carlos, Bartholomew, Russel, and Ezzie. The teams would regroup next to the wagons after.
Dino explained that they would gear up and set out after the vistani started setting up for the performance. Once the performance was on way and Strahd distracted, the two teams could safely sneak throughout the complex.
With a good roasted pig to fill the tummy up, everyone was out early after a soothing tune from the bagpipe brothers.
In the morning Dino and Ezzie hide the ruffians under tent canvas, wools, and other items in three separate wagons. After four hours of stiff and stanky travel(no one has washed themselves besides Carlos) Ezzie and Dino let the ruffians out. Dino tells the party that Sergei is in place and watching Strahd as the vistani are close to starting their performance.
The two teams say their goodbyes as the loot team descends the cliffside down to the treasure chambers below.
The loot team takes about an hour to ascend down and get to the castle overhang that protrudes from the stone. Russel breaks the window and the party enters, looking around. They see two coffins and some statues above, blue light dripping from the stones. The blue light does nothing to the party and they continue on, searching the stone mausoleums for the marks left by Crueller, the inside man.
The loot team come upon a few notable doors that are not marked. One is for Ireena Kolyana, which is empty and swept clean, the door left ajar. The other is Gunter Hash Horn with Gunter slumped on the floor. As Russel touches him to see if he is okay the body melts away to a fleshy goop.
After a quick search and fight with a banshee, the loot team is able to secure a hefty bag of coins.
