Session Report 11

General Summary

The adventurers staggered back to Rictavio's wagon and there laid down Rufus as he went through his withdrawal fits.   Rictavio introduced the white fur, black striped, armored tiger, who prowled about the ruffians, fangs protruding from its teeth. Rictavio introduced the beast as Sasha. With a quick mixture to settle Rufus while he shook and a grab of a pouch of clinking metals, the party plus Sasha and Rictavio headed out. They returned to the damp and mossy building of stone. The group worked a way in through the bottom left door and up the circular stairs.    Pablo lit the ground afire beneath the feet of a twig blight and all hell broke loose. The twigs all rushed as if one brain and multiple blights of twig and vine stumbled onto the party in the narrow hallway of stone. Gunter took the lead and chopped and slashed as Carlos launched bolts of fire.    On a miss-swing Gunter got his axe lodged in the floor and when he tore it free, he tore free the wooden floorboards as well. Now there was a hole with about a 15 foot drop separating Gunter from the ground. He jumped yet slipped on the now broken boards and fell. Russel took over as the lead and jumped across, slashing at the vine blight on the other side of the gap. Carlos followed and once again hid in a side room and launched more bolts from the safety of the distance.   Gunter recovered and climbed back up with the help of Carlos and some rope. Soon all three had found their way into a room with green translucent pod. Inside this catacomb was Kif, with a belly full of vines sprouting out. Gunter ripped the vines off and pulled Kif out of the green goop. Kif opened his eyes and thanked his fellows.   Ricatvio and Sasha parted soon after, saying goodbye to all and wishing them luck. He gave them one last warning not to trust any vistani and left at that.   The party searched the winery and found three casks and a rack of 36 bottles of wine, some filled and some only half. As the ruffians left they stumbled into the Martikov family, at least the Martikov family that resided here and not at the Bluewater Inn, where Urwin Martikov and his family lived.   Davian Martikov, the old and withered man, gave the adventurers a 50GP pouch and asked the adventurers to come back promptly as he needed them for another task and would pay greatly for it.   The adventurers said they would be back soon and started down the muddy path back to Vallaki to deliver the wine. They found RUfus a half a mile away; apparently Rictavio had forgotten the wood elf was back there.   The party found their way to Vallaki by nighttime and delivered the wine to Urwin and got paid each 100GP. Urwin gave the ruffians each a wolf steak and potato and then went back to do stock while his son tended bar.   Carlos was sipping purple dragonmash when he heard a few squacks from the kitchen. He and kif snuck back and happened upon 30 or so ravens sitting in the rafters of the kitchen area. As the nearest two squawked at Carlos, Carlos squawked back in his mind's eye and began squawking with the ravens. It turns out that these ravens are part of an order of lycanthropes who wish for their leaders, the keepers, to speak with the ruffians. The raven indicates at a coin on the counter and tells Carlos to come back on the morn to speak with the keepers.   Everyone goes to bed soon after and feels rested upon the morn.
