The city-state of Eola, crown of the Six Fragmented Emeralds of the south, sits on the edge of the Great Expanse. To the east, sits the narrow Sea of Jade, reaching northward from it's end in Eola's borders. To the west, the towering mountains of Het Varen, that the dwarves lay claim to, capped by the fortress Granitetop, above the dwarven city of Dural.   Beyond it lies the frontier town of Briarcleft, surrounded by the dense, wild Briarwood. Goblins, kobolds and murlocs all make their home in it's reaches, and while hunting and logging is good, there are dangers in it's depths, as well as the remnants of greater kingdoms and empires that came before, when the elves of Caalaresti called this their land.   The elves of Caalaresti, far in the west, lay across the Whiterage River from the Briarwood. While they allow trade and travel, there is a significant separation between the elves that make this their home, and outsiders. There are three main cities in the elven lands, Caal Unarith being the closest to Eola, while Caal Moroth is the capital.
