Cryta

Cryta is an ancient world existing within of the material plane. It's age has long since given outer realms the change to enact their will upon it, before its form is inevitably changed once more by some transcendental entity or law. The scars and ruins of past forms can still be found to this day, though some may best remain buried.   An assortment of landmasses cover Cryta, moving and changing throughout the ages. Some are interconnected, others instead stand isolated, surrounded by the waves of the oceans. Our story shall focus on one continent in particular for the time being, that being the war torn land of Ethia.   Ethia is an oddly shaped continent to be sure, a fact that can at times prove a hindrance to its inhabitants. These such inhabitants are the several nations and other populations that have attempted to carve our their own corners of the land.   Relations between such kingdoms have always been tense, but now, as if a dam finally giving way to the water that strains it, war sweeps over the land. In these times of conflict and strife, Ethia needs heroes now more than ever.   Note: Cryta is a homebrew setting for a personal Dungeons & Dragons campaign. At present, the focus of this world lies on Ethia.
