Crusader

Erin O'Donnell grew up in a fishing village, living her life surrounded by water. Erin had always hoped to inherit the family boat, and continue her life as a fisherwoman, but she grew up feeling the echos of the distant Cataclysm. Where mankind had wronged again, and brought God's judgement on all. The Russians and Chinese had failed, and the world now had to struggle to repent, the Rapture nearing its zenith. Erin felt like she had to do something to aid the effort, though she didn't know what.
Thus, when the call by His Holiness the Pope went out, a call for a new Crusade, she took up what arms she had. She had done much hunting over the course of her life, and her parish raised funds to get her a proper gun and a ferry to Rome, and after a tearful goodbye she journeyed first to the staging area in Rome, and then to Crossroads.
Along the way she joined up with other hopeful recruits, and spent time carving the stock of her gun with intricate Biblical designs. In Rome, Italian officers pledge to the cause trained her in the ways of combat. They gave her supplies, munition, dogma, and sent her with a cohort of peers, priests, and a commanding officer.
Now Erin is a trained soldier, a modern crusader following the orders of the Holy Legions to clean up the Retribution, and purge the world of demons and sinners alike.
