Criteria

Criteria is a gargantuan planet with very diverse life on two massive super continents, formed when four life giving planets collided and their inhabitants managed to survive. After several million years, 18-20,000,000 years depending on which historian you ask, the planet recovered and became what it is today. Some civilizations and environments survived the collision and continued to thrive, while others--such as the very famous lost city Taurustulte--were trashed and ruined and their inhabitants lost. Criteria is so diverse you can find just about every kind of race, creature, plant, and rock in existence. If it exists, it's on the planet somewhere. Most of these species get along great, but there are others that still prey on or fight against others. Be careful of what you encounter, as it isn't guaranteed they will be friendly. If you encounter something out in the Wildlands, the Fallout Frontier, or any ruins, diplomacy should likely be your last option. There is also one place on Criteria that all sentient races long to reach: Terminal Falls. Terminal Falls was one of the many civilizations destroyed during the Collision, but unlike the others it had a great treasure believed to hide there. Thousands upon thousands of adventurers have journeyed there to even get a single piece of it. Many thousands have returned with armloads and wagonloads full of treasure, and they report that there is still a nearly infinite amount of treasure there. There is only one problem: coincidentally, every adventurer that has gone there has never been able to return. They didn't die, it was just hidden from them. Your journey awaits. Will you be a legendary warrior, helping those in need and fighting off monsters? Will you be a famed adventurer, journeying across massive continents in search of new discoveries? Will you be someone more settled, farming, building, simply providing for yourself and doing your part for society? The choice is available...and the world is waiting for yours.
