The Immaculate Faith

Most denizens of the Realm, including most Dragon-Blooded, are relatively sincere adherents of the Immaculate Faith. It preaches a doctrine of spirtual elevation culminating in the Dragon-Blooded rulers. It was originally formed by the Sidereals as a way to ensure that they could give control of the world to the Terrestrial exalted and still maintain influence as monks and priests.
